Half way through the night, we were shown this brilliant video, made by a group of young people in Leeds. It actually gave me goosebumps. I have absolutely fallen in love with the North and Leeds is particular, so it really resonated with me.

The Golden Owl Awards
Last night, I was invited to the Golden Owl Awards at Leeds City Hall. The awards recognise and reward young film makers in the city between the age of three and nineteen. The event was fab: Storm Troopers greeted us before the city hall, there were excited kids everywhere and everyone was in black tie!
